In Toyota, Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company of Europe Limited (ANDIE) is acknowledged as its captive insurer. ANDIE will terminate its current agency agreement with Tennant Assurance AS, and will at the same time enter into an agreement with Gjensidige Forsikring ASA.

Michael Kainzbauer CEO, Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company of Europe Limited group stated; “I am very pleased and proud to see Toyota Forsikring in Norway engage in a strategic cooperation with Norway’s largest and best renowned Insurer, Gjensidige. The aim has been to enhance our attractive offers for both new and old customers, to increase customer satisfaction, and to continuously support Toyota values.”  

Insurance will be provided by Gjensidige Forsikring ASA and ANDIE jointly. Each company carries 50% of the risk. Customers will have direct support and service via Gjensidige, and the agreement follows Norwegian rules.

The transaction means business and obligations attached to the existing Toyota Forsikring portfolio will be transferred to Gjensidige Forsikring ASA.
